Default Noob trying to Upgrade

So pretty much i'm not really car savy. I got a 94 gt from my mom's friend and want to add more power. Also im a college student so money is hard to come by. I just wanted to know if the upgraed that iam think about getting are good. My plan:
*Gt40p heads; getting some remanufactured ones for $360. Is that a good price?
*intake; im not sure what kind i should get and im on a budget
*cams; probably the e303
Any and all help would be apprecieated. Send me on a good path

It would help to port the bump off the heads

gears would make the car quicker than all of those upgrades.

I would save for a good set of heads. You would think you are spraying the car with nitrous.

try and find a good used intake, like an edelbrock performer or something. cobra intake will work...but make it your last choice. also look into an andersonfordmotorsport cam, or a comp cams extreme energy. try the xe 272 hr

Gears have been changed to 3.73
I would prefer not to do a nitrous setup

First off, you say that you are not car savvy and doing an H/C/I swap is not the easiest thing to do. So, make sure you read up on how to do it before you tackle the job. With that said, I take it you may be on a budget. The GT40p heads will work, but you will need special headers(BBK and Ford Racing makes the "p" specific headers). As for an intake, any manifold will work well. However, you will need a dog leg elbow to make it work. As for cams, you WILL need a mild one. The 94-95 computers are very sensitive and any cam swap will make them go crazy. The E-cam is a single pattern cam and heavily outdated(does sound good though). The Steeda #19 cam is made specifically for our cars. I am running the Trickflow Stg-1 cam and have had 0 problems with it. It sounds good and is fairly inexpensive($165 from Summit). The idle was a little too lumpy with it prior to the tune however.
