Code 116 = engine is too cold or coolant temp below 150°F, nothing to worry about.
Regarding the EGR, looks like the valve pintle is getting stuck partially open... causing the higher than normal EVP signal. Remove valve, clean it up or replace it and rerun the self tests. LUK

Thanks Joel, the engine being too cold, causing code 116, is a relief.
Regarding the EGR, is the valve pintle you mentioned inside the EGR? I know it's called an "EGR Valve" so that's what I'm guessing you mean. Edit: Never mind that question. I know where it is now.
And by replace it, you mean the whole EGR?
Is this the valve pintle?

Yep...... but that one looks like a digital EGR valve used in GM cars.... LOL.... replaced one the day before yesterday in a Buick LeSabre.

Ok, I just tested the vacuum again. This time I got the EGR diaphragm to move and the engine almost died. I retested the CEL codes (just to see if I somehow fixed it) and now it is throwing both code 332 and 334.
334 code is "DPFE or EVP circuit above the closed limit of 0.67 volts."
Does this mean it's the EGR sensor? What should I do next?
edit: Great, now in the KOER test, I'm getting code 116 "ECT out of self test range 0.3 to 3.7 volts." This did not happen when I tested it last night. I got a 1-1-1 pass then.
