Question Frustrating throttle response!!

My 5.0 seems to have a problem with throttle response. What can be done to help improve the throttle response? Will installing a CAI fix it? And it seems that I have an exhaust leak will this also affect the throttle response? My problem with the throttle response would be that from a stop I cant spin the tires or is this normal for a factory v8 5.0? Everything in this car is factory if it matters.

Umm a stock 5.0 should be able to spin the tires running on 7 cylinders haha. Do you know the condition of the clutch?

The car is an automatic. Would this also effect spinning the tires at a stop? I also had another question with starter. My old starter was not loud when I started the car but now with the remanufactured one, it's reallly loud when I turn the key! Would the starter be the problem for being so loud or can it be the wire from the starter to the solenoid? Ill try to post a video of my car starting up and how I want it to turn on!

This how I would like it to start when I turn the key. What kind of starter would make it start like this? Would it be the High torque starter?

Ive done somewhat of a tune up. Ive changed the oil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, but I haven't changed the rotor or cap. SO would I have to change this inorder to get my car to be able to spin the tire at a stop? The motor only has 77,000 miles on it?... It doesnt have stock exhaust, it has 2 inch piping and shorty headers that have recently been installed. Im not sure about the mufflers though?

are those nitto 555Rs? if they are, and your car is a stock auto car, i can see it. they made 225hp at the flywheel. run that through an automatic and that's well less than 200 rwhp. add sticky tires to that equation and that might be your problem

look at this quote from car craft magazine talking about drivetrain power loss on a 5.0 automatic

"For the Ford, once Kevin eliminated the engine-driven fan, the AOD automatic transmission-equipped drivetrain still ate up an average 33 percent power. This may be the price for using an automatic, especially an AOD.

When a little small-block Ford loses well over a third of its flywheel power, you need to start looking for where all that power is going. The combination of the automatic transmission and the torque converter absorbs much of it (see the "Where's It Going?" sidebar). Adding a manual trans like a T5, or Tremec TKO could reduce this parasitic loss by eliminating the slippage and pumping losses. The best you can expect to gain is another 10 percent, which is significant when you consider this is around 25 hp."

so if you have 225 hp at the flywheel you are probably looking at 150ish rwhp with an automatic
