Default D.S.S Block??

I was lookin at the D.S.S LVL 2 block for my 331 build its going to be pretty mild for now with ported GT40 heads, and not really sure on the intake yet, and pb the D.S.S. 331 SX balanced roatating assbly. And eventually a single turbo with a water/meth setup. Its going to be a DD car and Im looking for somewhere around 500-550 rwhp and was wondeing if this block is going to be strong enough or is the pretty much the same strength as the stock block??

its a stock block just with a bunch of stuff done to it. You should try fordstrokers if you want good products!!!!!! also in IL. I live 5 min. from dss, but am going to a shop bout an hour+ away from my house because ive only heard bad things about htem

Yeah, the DSS race block is nothing more than a stock block. Your best bet would be to get a Dart block or a Ford Racing Boss block. +1 to Fordstrokers.

Ok so I looked at Fordstrokers and I am thinking about the 311 DIY Liberator short block but does anyone know about how much those blocks can handle or are that basicly just a machined stock block??

If you go that route, you might as well drive across the street when your done to pressurized solutions and get a stand alone system with a turbo.

Here is a Bennett/Pressurized Solutions motor
