As some people might know I'm in the process of swapping my wrecked 89 gt's drivetrain into the 86 LX roller I bought. I ran across a little problem this afternoon when attempting to swap the front suspension. The 86 has lock lug nuts on the front rims and the key is nowhere to be found, so I was wondering what my options were? I plan on swapping in everything from the gt including the front hubs so I figured I'd just drill the lug nut out. Will drilling it out have any affect on anything other than maybe the lug?

^^ i have a set of these great thing to have just in case. and I got mine as sears by the way but I know when I worked at Autozone thay had a set up there for around $20 not sure if thay still do though
I found some on mine, I just used a chisel and a mallet and hit is at an angle. Enough of an angle to make a rotational impact, but obviously not too much to where it'd slip off. After a minute or so of doing this between the small rotation caused by the hammering and the "altered surface" I could use a pair of vice grips to twist the off. Took me maybe 20 minutes, harder than buying the above mentioned tool but if you don't have the tools for that then this'll do.
