Default multi-function switch

hey guys im having some probs. my blinkers arent working and when i tried to trace that i think i found another problem. im pretty sure my dash harness is an 89 but i have an airbag in the steering column so its atleast a 1990. it seems that the multifunction switch needs some rewire to be able to work in my car. can anyone give me some more info on this? i looked at the wiring from a 1990 and a 1992 car and the wiring to the switch is deff different from what i have in my car

There was a recall on those switches. If you take it to the dealer, provided it hasn't already been done, they should set you up with a new one.

someone may have swapped on an airbag steering wheel, it doesn't mean your car is a hybrid build, my 89 had such and all the tool that owned it had dome was put the wrong steering wheel on cause it looked cool.....evident by nonfunctional horn buttons...does your horn work??
