Default Gummy clutch pedal moving friction point

1993 LX 5.0 Motorsport Heavy Duty clutch installed 5k miles ago with new pilot and throw-out bearings. I have an adjustable clutch cable quadrant FMS that I adjust tighter and tighter over the last two years and still the clutch grabs mostly low. I'm getting to the end of the adjustable area on the cable now. But sometimes the clutch is grabbing halfway. Always seems to grab on the low side and the friction point changes from time to time... sometimes lower somtimes higher. Lately the clutch pedal feels gummy and I dont know why seems like the clutch pedal isnt smooth as it use to be. I dont beat on the car much or even drive the thing. Also get a creeking sound near quadrant/ firewall area when using the clutch pedal. Any ideas would be great.

Heavy clutch pressure plates are rough on cables. Try replacing the cable.
