Default mustang intake on explorer

My 2 friends are going to swap intakes, take the gt40 off an explorer and swap it with the intake on the mustang, obviously the gt40 will bolt right up to the stang but will the stang's properly bolt up to the explorers? what all would we need other than the gasket sets? Thanks for any help.

It should bolt up, provisions for the EGr might be diff but I dont see why not. I run an explorer intake, IDK why it shouldnt work backwards.

I dont see the need for any modifications. a new set of gaskets and you should be good to go. The only thing that might be diff is the EGR.

If it bolts up directly on the stang it will bolt up directly to the explorer.
