You know, you get what you pay for. However, yesterday I ordered me a pair of Summit brand shorty headers for my 95 Mustang. They were only $100, and I believe their headers are made by Pacesetter, for what it's worth. I should get them by Friday and plan on installing them on Sunday. I'll get back to this thread on their fitment and quality. I would not be surprised if they are both manufactured by the same company, which is why I brought up the Summit headers.

they look like the flowtech headers!i bought those for my 87 gt which by the way didnt fit at all!!so i gave them to a friend of mine with a 87 convertible which went in easy!i dont know why if i got them specifically for a coupe with manual tranny....just get the mac...good quality for the price! thats wat i did
I have the summit brand longtubes which are identical to those and well...I wish I had spent the extra money and got BBKs or Macs. First of all, they have 3 bolt collector flanges where as most aftermarket mid pipes are the 2 bolt ball and socket style so you're gonna need to do some fab work to get them to fit an aftermarket exhaust. Second, the drivers side is a pain because the #8 primary tube has to go behind the steering shaft which means you are either gonna cut the header so you can slip the tube in (they're designed to be cut) or you're gonna have to remove the steering shaft, put the header in and then work the shaft back in.
Long story short, they're a lot of work and you are probably better off spending the extra money and getting different ones.
