Default 1994 Mustang GT questions

My folks just bought a 1994 Mustang GT Convertible. Its a real nice car, it is red with tan leather interior and a mach 460 stereo and an auto. Here is a couple questions I have. The car has a 120mph speedo, is that normal? adnormal? Also if you look down the side of the car in the right light you can see the Indy 500 emblem with May 25 1994 on it, like the decals were there but now removed, also the white indy 500 emblems that are not quite totally gone on the rear quarter panels. Is it possible it could be a replica Indy pace, what I read they all were Cobras.

Yea, either somebody took a sixer and put a 5.0 in it (complete waste of money if you ask me), or they were too cheap to find or fix the old speedo and put a V6 speedo in there.

I willing to bet on the speedo being a v6, the car is in excellent shape. I work at the Lincoln Mercury dealership and had it on the rack and the is completely stock underpinings, stock convertors and stock 3.27 limited slip rear. I have only had fox body mustangs and did not mess with anything newer than 1992 so wasnt 100 percent on the speedo. What is the average cost of a replacement speedo assembly?
