Most of the newer blowers are actually pretty quiet. Especially in the case of the Vortech/Paxton which is actually the same company. I have a Vortec S-Trim SC V2. The blower is actually very quiet, as these newer style blowers (V2 & V3) are quieter yet more efficient.

If you want a louder lower you would need a V1, but I'm not sure if Vortec still makes this. The ATI's are also quite loud.

Good luck!

My novi 1000 sings pretty good at idle and on regular driving around town at low speeds. I'm not sure what the newer 1200 sounds like though.

What's the point? You want it loud just everyone knows you have a blower. Why not just make the car fast and let that do the talking.

vortech's v1 screams at idle. its horribly annoying. i had one for about a year. i would have people pull up next to me at red lights and tell me there is something wrong with my car. if your blower isnt sticking through the hood, a loud blower at idle makes you look like a joke.

you should get one of those fake turbo exhausts while your at it. that way when your driving youll sound like you have a turbo and when your idling youll sound like you have a sc that way people will know your a tool all the time and not just when your idling

I disagree completely. Nothing wrong with hearing the blower! Thats like saying you dont want your exhaust too loud so your a sleeper. Screw that. Not everyone wants to be a sleeper. Go loud!
