Default 1984 mustang gt

Alright... My names zac.... i bought my mustang for $500 put a x pipe on it.... and new flywheel.... Right now i have about $550 on me right now.... Any thoughts of what i could do right now to increase my hp..... right now i have a 5 speed with 3.73s... i ran a 15.1 at the track.. i know it can get into the 14s..... Just want to know what should i do to get the most bang for the buck right now. thanks zac

is it carbed? if so, I'd scrap the stock intake and either get a performer 289 intake or rpm that'll support more mods later and scap the stock carb and get a edl 1405 carb or a holley 650 dp and tune it right

yep its carbed has a edelbrock 1405 on it now with a intake spacer.... forgot which intake i had tho

dump that crappy edlebrock carb for a holley just swapping those out will put you in the 14's

^^^^my 92 is in the 13's with that carb, stock motor stock heads too
