Default notchback 4 cylinder to 302 swap questions

I had a 1982 mustang gt hatchback that had my 331 stroker motor in it. Unfortunatly the body was shot on it. So I picked up a clean 1982 notchback that still had the 2.3L 4 cylinder in it. Is there any fabrication I need to do to the motor mounts to fit? I have solid motor mounts to. Any feedback would be awsome thanks.

The K-members are the same. If you have your motor mounts from the 331 then they should bolt into the notchback. I think.

I need help please. I have a 1990 lx 5.0 302 F.I. T5 manual that was wrecked. It still running as of now. anyways, I just bought a 1989 lx 4 cylinder F.I. auto tranny yesterday to do a engine and tranny swap with. I know most of what I will have to swap. i just dont want to forget something. plus I want to make sure the computer will plug right into the 89 from my 90. the 90 had an air bag, the 89 dont. Does anyone know if i will have to swap the fuel pump? If you know of a web site with an how to step by step for a swap like this please let me know. my email is zachpierce1976@yahoo.com. Thanks

im pretty sure the brake pedals are the same, same as the fuel pump relay except there in different locations... dont know about the fuel lines though but surly change the fuel pump to the 5.0 one. im in the process of finding a donor 5.0 but what i said is based on the research i've done so you might want to talk to a few other people and see what they have to say about it.
