Default mini starter conversion on 1987 Mustang convertible

I have been researching on the upgrading of the stock 87 starter to the better designed 92-95 mini starter. I have found this starter on lmr http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/LRS-11002B that seems to be what Im looking for but I wanted to know if you guys know if it comes with the wires to install on the fender solenoid. Does this price seem correct for this starter? I have read that the mini starter cranks the engine with less voltage and has less of a hassle to start the engine. I also had a question, does the top starter bolt need like a washer of some sort to keep the bolt tightened dow because mine seems to become loose after awhile?

Sorry for the long post but I want advice on converting to mini starter and the pro and cons of the starters.

Your present starter has one big wire. It can be reused if it's in good condition.
At the solenoid end you transfer the big starter wire to the HOT side for constant power to the starter.
The now empty lug will get a smaller wire to run to the small lug on the mini.

I know how to install it I was asking if its worth the installing? Does it really make the car start faster? What starter are you running?

I'd never do it for faster cranking. There is 5lbs in the swap though.
To a racer that's a pretty good diet.

Lighter, WAY easier to get to if you have headers, starts easier and lasts longer. I've been running the late model mini on my 67 for years without issue.

Best trap 107.11mph, we'll see what the new intake/carb setup does.
