just running this by you guys before i go and spend money i dont have to. regarding fitment will a new style HO crank say from like an 86-93 foxbody 5.0 fit an old school 302 block like a 71-73 ish block? let me know thanks im thinking they will because the journals are the same size jus worried about the rear seal.

why would you want to not use a roller block?? most of the time the classic guy want to build 289s with roller blocks and grind the lip off the crank
ill bet youll have rear main seal problems since the late model crank doenst have the lip
