Default Shock and Strut upgrade.......?

I need to replace my shocks and struts. My choices are the Tokico HP series (blue) shock and strut combo or the KYB AGX sport adjustable's (red). My car is not lowered and i don't plan on lowering it in the future. I've heard that after a year the KYB's will have problems with adjustability, like you adjust the setting but feel no difference. Is this true? Anyone running them? if so whats your .02 Does anyone have the Tokico HP series setup? if so whats your .02 I want a performance shock and dont mind paying for the adjustability of the KYB's but not if the adjustability is going to wear out. These shocks are my two choices because im using a gift card and the website has only these 2 within my budget. With that being said any one who has an opinion or experience......write it down. Thanks again, Jay.

I cannot say one bad thing about my Tokicos, I have the Illuminas (5-way adjustable) but I have heard great things about the Tokico Blues as well. How much more are the Illuminas on that site?

illumina's actually arent available. the site has the kyb agx's, tokico blues, eibach pro dampner, bilstein and the tokico d-spec. Not a big selection but with the gift certificate being worth close to half of the total price thats enough to make me stay on that site lol.

that's weak. Is there anything else on that site you'd want? I know the Illuminas aren't too badly priced on eBay.

I've heard good things about Strange 10-Ways. I'm needing new suspension all-around and have been trying to figure out what to get. I have 2 friends who can help me do it, but I work a hectic schedule and was just going to go to a shop to have the suspension redone. There's a pinging sound when the rear-driver's side compresses, and the shop I went to seemed quite sure suspension was the problem, but I'm not sure. Just want to get the problem fixed correctly(And suspension needs to be done anyway, so why not).
What prices would I be looking at?

if the shop is going to do the suspension work for you......prepare to be raped. take a day off and just do it yourself/buddies. I don't trust anyone working on my car unless its something i don't feel comfortable doing myself which isn't a whole lot. ONYX i might end up just going with the HP's. Or unless like 86 5.0 said i can sell the gift certificate but i don't know how im gonna do that.
