yeah, that looks about right. either the ignition switch is shot, or i have no power running through the white/pink wire. im going to grab those security torx bits tonight and change the switch out tomorrow and see if by some miracle it works.
both connectors are in the safety switch. however, the wire that goes from Red/Lt blue to white/pink is dead at the ignition switch. So thats why the guy had to just wire a switch in. Even with the new ignition switch in, jumping the solenoid directly to the correct pin on the ignition switch doesnt work. I have to see where the Red/lt blue to White/pink is going wrong, because it's dead.
for anyone who searches this topic in the future, this was my solution :
after hours of searching for wires and checking sensors and whatnot, it all came down to the play between the keylock cylinder and the ignition switch. the switch was too far from the keylock cylinder, even if it was just a fraction of an inch. So when the key was turned to crank the motor, it wouldnt engage the starter!
