yes it should fit, but i believe the intake is facing the other way, so you might not be able to use the factory mounting points for the maf and might have a problem with cai.

no it will not work unless you swap out the non h.o cam for one with an h.o firing order, reason being so is you have sequential efi

If you have the ecu it will do till you can afford too change it

im saying if he has the harness and ecu and everything like i did with an 86 lx ive purchsed bought an 91 crown vic motor and ecu and harness and mine works fine

^^^you can do that if you swapped the harness like you said, but why?? unless you want a mustang with now the performance of a 79-82........if you never want to mod it you'll be fine.
