vibration

I have a vibration in my car that seems to get worse when i push the clutch in at higher speeds. i pulled the driveshaft last night and both u joints seem to be in good shape. all mounts on tranny tight. btw it a tremec 3550. what else could it be

bumo it seems to be bad from like 50-70 but then goes away after 70. any ideas. i have a 3550 tremec in the car with no spacer. been this way for 3 months but the vibration just came around 2 weeks ago. 373s rear

Check ,replace tailshaft bushing install spacer? Weights still on driveshaft?

yeah the weights are still on the driveshaft. think i wore the bushing out by not having the spacer? whats it take to change the bushing?

please anyone this is driving me crazy. i don't understand why it gets so much worse when the clutch is in.

get your rear tires balanced, buy the spacer, and check for wear (play) in the bushing by testing the vertical and horizontal play of the yoke

well the rear tires out of balance wouldn't make it worse when i push the clutch in would it. can i replace just the tailshaft busing in a tremec 3550?

is there a difference in the tailshaft busing and the seal...i was looking at a tremec parts list and their parts like has the seal but then on the other hand i have found some rebuild kits they say tailshaft busing...http://www.thegearbox.org/catalog/it...42/3535521.htm

thats says there is a bushing
