If you still have an egr valve im guessing you still have all the smog/emissions installed?

if the egr valve is stuck partially open then it 'd cause a lean misfire but it'd be evident by a rough idle, swap o2 sensors side to side and if code goes to other side = defective o2 sensor, LUK

the idle seemed fine, but he just cleaned all the gunk out of the egr valve and put it back on. and now the idle is low and rough and cuts out sometimes...? bad egr?

semi related, but i removed all of my emissions crap and smog pump, gas mileage is about 160mi/tank. will that dummy egr thing on ebay do anything to counteract this issue, or just get rid of the code?
