for the whistling sound check your iac. it might need to be cleaned. with a surging check for vac leaks with some starting fluid by spraying it around your heads and intake. i am having the same issue and my coil is good as well. one thing i havent checked is my tfi module yet. mine runs rich n also. im used to it due to no cats but it runs richer than usual. if i can bypass the tfi plug then i will let you know the results.

i swapped coils again today. and the car did feel a lil stronger. i also cleaned iac and its not making the whistle. the whistle gets extremely loud right near the top of upper intake

thats almost gotta be a vacuum leak with that whistling.
