I have HIDs and someone told me that they draw more of a charge and the wires cant handle it. So i need to know how to rewire my headlights bypassing the fuse box. and use a relay. ive gotten the wire through the firewall to the batttery but i dont know which wires to cut from the dash harness and which i need to hook up to a relay. The guy said this and gave me this website
"HID's require a ton of current to make them work. The factory ford wiring harness isn't capable of sustaining this load. You're going to need to create your own wiring harness, and you will need to use a relay to direct the current instead of leaving it up to the switch.
Basically you need to do this, but with the headlight wiring instead of foglight wiring. http://www.corral.net/tech/maintenance/foglights.html
This link is purely an example as it won't help you directly, but it shows what needs to be done."
