Default dash lights dimming

last night when i was driving i got on it a little and when i hit about 70mph the dash lights start dimming in and out. this is the first time ive noticed it. has anyone experienced this before?

Perhaps the brushes in you alternator are worn and it isn't charging good at higher rpms.

teh charge gauge doesnt move when it happens. when its dark again im gonna give it another shot see if it does it again.
