Has anyone noticed that the BBK throttle body has a very stiff spring? My gas pedal takes a good amount of effort to push after I hook it up to the throttle body.

its not the spring. the tb blade is getting hung up inside the tb. remove the blade and use some sand paper and sand the inside of the tb a little. also carefully file the edges (corners) of the blade not so much the flat side. kinda round it off a bit. that should fix ur problem.
