Default Chip to tune 93 Cobra MAF, or aftermarket MAF???

Well on the dyno it showed the Cobra Maf was making my A/F ratio fat.

A guy over at modded mustangs says he can burn me a chip for $180 to tune the 1993 Cobra maf for the 24lb injectors that are waiting to be installed, and to even out the air/fuel.

Or i can buy a aftermarket MAF for $220-250 that is already calibrated for 24lb injectors, and most aftermarket one's arnt like the Cobra maf that has that huge obstruction in the middle of the air flow, and aftermarket MAF's are normaly CNC machined, so flow air better through the housing.

I'm basically hoping to avoid a custom tune with the mod's in my Sig, (including the heads and cam that will be installed very soon.)

So what do you guys think?

try the chip from the guy (has a good reputation doing this) Or get a aftermarket MAF?
(more then likely a BBK 76mm calibrated for 24lb's and CAI)

thanks for any input.

Also C&L's 76mm maf for 24lb injector's is only $160......

So IDK if it works great....... but the price looks good for the same set up (76mm, 24lb injectors) from BBK is $220

buy the moates Quarterhorse and do it yourself. You are going to need a new tune after you do the h/c/i anyway.... might as well just spend the $250 and learn how to do it yourself

Is it really that easy or what?

I have no idea how to tune, and dont really wanna have the car sit for a month while I work out bugs, or blow the motor because I didn't tune it right..... total newbie to that junk.

btw, don't sell the cobra.
