Thanks 93 LX. I just got the Autometer pro comp ultra light, part # 4327. Is that a good one to use. Is there anything I should know about the install?

Throw the plastic tubing in the trash and buy some copper tubing instead. The oil heats up and could crack the plastic... oil INSIDE the car = not good!
Wouldn't be a bad time to grab a water temp gauge along with a dual gauge pod for the a-pillar.
Not the best pic, but you can see how I mounted mine. I can read the gauges without even moving my eyes lol
Well had to take the guage back cause the guy at autozone gave me an electric guage instead of mechanical. Got the right guage and installed. Pressure gets down to 10psi's at idle after about 5 minutes of idling. Weird thing is the tube is not filling all the way up with oil. Do I need to bleed the tube. It did not say anything about bleeding the tube in the install instructions. I am starting to think I have a major problem.
Put 40 weight oil in and it still gets down to 10 psi after driving for a while. That is better then going down to 0 psi like it was doing before. At 2000 rpm's the pressure goes up to 35-40 psi's. I will replace the tubing this weekend. There are no kinks in the tubing. I am still not sure if the oil should be filling up the tubing completely. Can you answer that for me.
you should have put a bottle of lucas in before the heavier oil.
like i said before, my last mustang would go down to 20 psi at idle. put a bottle of lucas in with 10w-40 and it would hang at 40psi after a hard day at the track.
