87-90 had tilt or at least the option. 91-93 had air bags so no tilt steering was available.

The 87 that I have has the fixed steering column; SSP Mustang. I am not changing out the enitre dash, just the plastic skin.

Do you guys have any pictures of an install?

oh sorry guys I just always thought it was only 89 as all the mustangs that we have,the only ones that are tilt are 89's

91 mustang 5.0 lx,306 shortblock,E-303 cam,ported and polished E7's,rebuilt stock T-5,bbk E/L shorty headers,with their 2 1/2" o/r H-pipes,70 mm maf,3G alt.,upr adj. upper c/a's 3:73 gears. race weight with driver:3260,only a 100 lbs. more than the 85

85 mustang: parts car for now

Best time 13.7@ 102 mph 2.074 60' on street tires(in the '85)
Best time 14.3@ 96 mph 2.13 60' on street tires(in the '91)
