Default problem with ignition key cylinder

It starts up fine, but the turn signals, break lights, a/c don't work. If i back the ignition a tad towards the off position the dash lights flash and everything will work. I've tried cleaning the area, but it didn't help. Im thinking it needs to be replaced, but can't find any info on doing it. Anyone ever replace one?

its easy, take the plastic off around the column, turn the key to the on positiion. There is a little button that holds the cylinder to the column, push it in and pull the cylinder out.. It can be done in minutes

That's not the problem. It's in the electrical portion of the ignition switch located under the dash on the column. The key cylinder is just mechanical, nothing more.
