well after a few months of abuse im leaking coolant from my intake. with the winter month coming up i plan on pulling the car off the road and doing some upgrades. i want to go with a single turbo but keep the stock block and possible make it a 306. i needed some pointers on what to fill the block with. since i wont b making nemore then 450 HP i dont know if i will need to have nething forged or if cast will work. i have a b303 cam, hardened pushrods, HV oil pump, and lifters that i would throw in and possibly a set of aluminum GT40 heads and intake. i would like to put that threw a tko 500/600 but i dont know which one is for me.

with a stock block it'll all be a gamble, no need to use forged crank cause the block will let go long before crank, just get a set of forged I beam rods, cast steel crank and a decent set of dished forged pistons

That is why I went with my 600. I wanted to make sure I never had to buy another transmission again. I lucked out and bought one from a member on this site.
