Hi,
I am wanting to stay EFI for a 347 cut from my original 302. i have a 89 lx convertable 5 speed. Currently I have:
pullys minus smog pump
k&n air filter
410 rear
shorty headers
off road mid
40 series flows
pro 50 short throw 5spd
i have found a machine shop that will bore and stoke my 302 and build the short block with a scat 347 rotating assebly i also will be adding:
cold air intake
24lb injectors
75mm maf housing/sensor
75mm throttle body
trickflow heads w/ 60cc comb 2.02/1.60
hydrolic roller cam (dont know lift yet)
aluminum drive shaft
edelbrock upper and lower intake manifold that supports 347
subframe connections
msd ignition/coil
and any recogmendations that might be offered
my question is because i want to stay efi, what will i need to do to get tuned to support this? is there a good kit for a 347 efi? i have see companies that make chips for diff applications but i wanted to know if anyone has any experiance with this same project and any problems along with any suggestions about something that might not work with the setup i want. I also want to stay naturaly asperated.
Thanks in advance.

you might get a custom chip made its on summitracing.com just look up chips and there should be a custom one for around 400 and they do things such as supercharger and turbo apps so im sure they could make you one.

LMFAO... dude, never give advise again
OP, i would suggest you get in touch with MJR46 and/or Pro50SC and ask them about shops in your local area that can dyno tune

tuning for larger cid begins with choosing the correct parts for the build, of which you have not, I meant what I posted for parts or use what you want and have a 347 that performs like a mild 302, a dyno tune will not pull an extra 100 hp out of a piss poor combo

Yeah man... Those TF 190 FAC heads are REAL nice pieces.... id agree with MJR on that one. Youre gonna need more than a 24# injector though, if you plan on building this one right.

wtf!, unfortunately i dont live anywhere near a dyno so, if you can read you might want to go on summit and look up that chip yourself. i've never dynoed a car so i dont know what it costs but its a CUSTOM chip so im sure this would work too.
