Default intermitent stalling and running rough

Since it was so nice out today I figured I'd pull my car out and do a few things, I got a mail order tune just to get the car to be safe and threw that in, hooked up an ignition box, tach, and threw on control arms. Well i decided to drive it a little and for the first 30 mins or so it ran perfect. no problems. then all of a sudden it stalled. I started it, and it ran perfect, then stalled after another minute. This time when i started it it didn't want to move and felt like it was running on 4 cylinders or something. so I stopped, unplugged the ignition box, it started fine and ran fine then started doing the same thing again. So I let it sit for maybe 5 minutes while I looked at everything then drove it home, and it took me about 15 mins or so to get home and it ran perfect the whole way. What's everyone's ideas? I sure don't know.

pull your ECM out and re-clean the contacts on the J3 port

also, chances are really good that your IAC tables, and TB flow values are STILL incorrect, as the typical mail order tune is ****.

you should have bought a quarterhorse. I would have sent you my base tune to get you running

I'm most likely still going to either get a quarter horse or get this one perfected but at wot the afr's are good so I can actually play with it a little. Also adder, by J3 port do you mean where the chip plugs in to? I also got a t4m0 and there was some what looked like wax on the plug for the chip. and I didn't wipe it out because I didn't know if it help the connection or not.

I will check for codes first thing tomorrow but can't start it now. the last time I started the car after 10:00 I got the cops called on me.

dont do a damn thing with the codes

pull your ECM out and clean the "wax" off the port that the chip clips onto. Your chip isnt making a good contact. If you don't do this, you can/will fry your ECM and or chip

well I cleaned off the j3 terminal today, and noticed the computer plug wasn't even all the way in, the bolt on the connector was only finger tight, so i took care of both and am driving the car to class tonight, and hopefully not gonna have any problems. lol.
