ok i got my car and im starting to install the seats harness and roll bar soon, i was wondering of an estimated 1/4 time on this 408stroker build, on an 89 LX notch, i have the bars for 8 point but i was wondering if i should buy a few more and go with a 10 point, and if i do 10 point can i just cut into the dash or should i make an alum. dash?

RE: 408 stroker (roll cage question)
Anything faster than 10.0 will need a chassis cert by NHRA, you will also need an NHRA license.I would just do an 8 pt unless you realistly think you be in the 9's

If thats the case then I over build the chassis. It's very frustrating and costly to have to redo alot of chassis work when your goes a second faster than planned.
