Default E303 cam

my timing chain is bad so i figured im going to install the E303 and a new intake manifold at the same time. Can you use the stock valve springs the retainers or they have to be replaced?

Get new springs, not too spendy. When I rebuilt/ported my stock heads, my springs were visibly different in height, at only 110k miles. Get a b cam with stock heads.

With the mileage, I'd get new springs as well as new lifters for insurance purposes.

You may have to notch the piston with a 1.7 rr.
