I have heard that you go with the X-pipe if you want more torque and the H-pipe if you want more HP.

I like the sound of the H-pipe better. It has more rumble to it. The X-pipe has more of a raspy sound when reved up.

PRBABLY SAME FLOW NUMBERS BUT THE H PIPE HAS MORE OF A DEEP TONE TO IT THEN THE X PIPE I PERSONALLY THINK THE HIPE SOUNDS BETTER ON THE 5.0 BUT THAT JUST MY 2 CENTS

I've never heard anything raspy come out my exhaust. I have a very deep throaty sounding exhast. I'd think any car with flowmasters would sound that way. I think the raspy sounds come from straight through and glass backs. I've heard Tims88 with an h pipe and it does have a deeper tone. I really don't think you can go wrong which ever you choose.
