There are many factors for heads....

How Much money do you want to spend?

Cam?

What are you looking for out of the heads?

Street/Strip? Street? Strip?

Explain....

Personaly the BBK ssi intake looks like crap from the flow tests I have seen. You would be better of getting a trick flow or an eldebrock. Also with heads there are many options, we need more info.

+1 definately go w/ TFS or Edelbrock. The BBK intake is UGLY.

I like the SSI intake. The problem w/ it is that they hyped it up too much. It was supposed to be the latest and greatest...it's not that it's bad, it performs about the same as the rest out there. I think it had a little higher tq and lower hp, but it was pretty close. It just wasn't what they made it out to be.

tfs or edelbrock for me too. they have been proven whereas bbk has shown me no hard evidence of being a good intake.

There have been tests showing exactly where the SSI stands compared to the others. It has more to do with your specific application than anything else. If you're building a high-rpm track car, go with a high-rpm track intake. If you're building a daily driver, choose a daily driver intake. Make sure all of your parts match. The BBK has the potential to replace the GT-40 as the quintessential street intake, making good power throughout the entire rpm range. While it doesn't give you the most HP up top, it still has enough torque down low for a daily driver. I will be selling an Edelbrock RPM Power Package very soon. RPM heads with 2.02 valves, RPM II Intake Manifold, and RPM Cam. The parts are matched together, and with the proper supporting pieces, they will make around 380HP and 345 Torque on the engine dyno, which will equate to 300-330 at the wheels, depending on your car. Let me know if you are interested, this is a super special, and will be priced $100 less than the big sites. Looking forward to helping you out
