Default Air Bag Light

Some idiot decided to take my 95 GTS for a ride. He pulled the ignition lock and started it with a screwdriver.

The air bag light flashed, then stayed on when I was bringing it home.

I put a new lock in but still get the light.

Any ideas on what got messed up?

some of the wiring for the airbag arming system could have been messed up. I believe it is involved with the ignition. I would reccomend getting it checked as soon as possible. My friends chevy had the light on and the airbag went off while he was driving down the freeway. It could also mean that the pretest didn't work so it isn't armed. Either way get it checked.

Do you know how to pull the code? It's an OBD-I.

dopey me.

the codes are based on the flashing air bag light.

i found a website that has airbag info. just don't attempt to do anything unless you know what you're doing:

http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/te...g/airBag95.htm

i got a code 12 - Lost Battery Feed

thanks for the input
