Rear Tires on a Foxbody...how wide can i go?
#21
Another thing is how you drive your car.
On a previous combination of 235 45 front and 245 45 rear. With a 9" rim on a lowered car. I drove the car for 3 years and would claim they didn't rub. Entered it for an afternoon on the road course, they rubbed.
New combination 245 45 front, 275 rear. Sitting there, the don't rub, driving around with low fuel, by myself, aware of dips in the road. I can make it not rub.
Load up the family, fill the tank and it'll rub all day long.
Some of this depends on where and how you drive.
