f-303 cam
can i use the f-303 cam on a basically stock motor(stock heads, intake, and bottom end)? I don't know if there will be adequate valve clearance or if i will need new pistons, im trying to keep the stock bottom end for a while. I plan on putting the gt-40x heads and trickflow manifold on in the near future or all at the same time. Will this work???? Is this a good combo???

RE: f-303 cam
you should wat until you can afford to do it all at once, or enjoy doing the same work twice, f303 cam is suitible for that set up but you should consider a cam matched for the heads, any sales repatuble sales rep should be able to help. f303 should not have any clearance isues on a stock setup.

RE: f-303 cam
i would wait till you got some type of intake setup and head work. since that cam is a higher peaking cam. the stock intake and heads dont like to be pushed past 5gs tops. not enough flow rate

RE: f-303 cam
what cam would you guys suggest, i thought that cam may not be my best choice. i still want it to be streetable and eventually i plan to do a lot more of work to it(ex. supercharger). on the other hand I dont want a sissy cam.

RE: f-303 cam
55,000 miles on engine, t-5 tranny, 3:55 gears, shorty headers, h-pipe, intake, short shifter, 190 liter fuel pump, thats about it. I am hoping for my car to hit high 12's with these mods along with a throttle body and maf.

powermax2031
513/529 lift with a 1.7 rocker 200-5500 rpm
this one a lil better

533/544 1.6 ROCKER
2100-5650 RPM
AND YOU CAN PUT A 1.7 ROCKER WITH THIS CAM AND BE NEAR 565 LIFT
or a trick flow
