How can I lighten my 93 convertible?
My car is a pig (3620lbs without driver). Ok, it is a fast pig (best 1/4 10.58 @133 on slicks). I've got plenty of power, but I need a major diet to be able to improve on the times. With all the subframe connectors and the cage to stiffen the chassis I've added some weight. I have a tubular K-member.....what are the other best options without gutting the thing (I still use it for frequent cruises and want it to still look and feel like a street car vs. a gutted strip car. I'd like to keep the cost to weight reduction ratio reasonable as well. Thanks for any thoughts...

lol Wow...how helpful was that?
Do you have full interior right now? It's pretty hard to chop down your weight when you still want it to appear like a street car. But I'm sure you're realized that. Maybe get a lightweight chassis or something. What kind of weight reduction mods have you do yet?
