What flywheel do I have?

What flywheel do I have?
I'm changing the current 5.0L to a 5.8L Lightning engine this fall... I understand that I'll need a 28oz(counter balanced) flywheel for the 351.. Is that what's on my 5.0L (1991 model) now? Or is it a 50oz.... Any info would be appreciated.

RE: What flywheel do I have?
lol.. yeah i was thinking about it but the way i drive ill end up doing something that will get my car salvaged out by my insurance company. haaha i was looking into the engine off a 01 saleen that this guy was selling the other day.. kinda makes me wanna sell my other car and dump the cash in my stang.. but i think the 50 mile commute each day would squeeze all the juice out of my wallet eventually. I think im gunna do the Holley Systemax 2 pretty soon because i heard u get 350/350 if not from that plus other mods its only around $600 which is kinda pricey for it but it gives u all u need. i think thats good enough 4 this lead foot... for now.

RE: What flywheel do I have?
Dudes.. we got off the topic here... I need some flywheel info... please....
btw... my car is a '69 GT350 Shelby which originally came with a 5.8L/351.... I put an EFI 5.0L in it when I resurected it from a wrecking yard basket case... now after 10 years of the 5.0L, I purchased a 5.8L EFI from a wrecked Lightning Gen 1 truck to get the thing back to a 351... also have a Kenne Belle Blowzilla S/C waiting in the spare bedroom for the conversion to be completed.... should be pretty cool...
Flywheel info please...

RE: What flywheel do I have?
That's what I was afraid of.... anybody know for sure? My plan is to get the casting numbers off the flywheel to identify which one it is for sure... but that's still a few weeks away before I remove the engine... I'd like to have the correct replacement reay to go when I make the change over...

RE: What flywheel do I have?
Thanks for the info.... I was hoping for an easy conversion process, but looks like I'll have to change flywheels at the minimum.... Also considering the shorty headers from MAC or BBK for the 351... Also, the 351 Lightning engines were all Speed Density FI systems.. I'll be using the MAF system already in place on my car... good thing this isn't my primary mode of transportation... it may take a while to complete.

RE: What flywheel do I have?
Did you get the flywheel with the motor? if it is the stock flywheel than use it but if not go to autozone or o'reilys and have them look up what part you need for the motor. dont try mix matching parts unless you know its right because its not fun pulling the trans out to do it again.
