Default Headers...?

Alright...so I think I'm gonna be gettin some new headers... but I'm still poor :P lol... I know everyone says "You get what you pay for" BUT...aren't...aftermarket headers better than stock...at least?[&:] I was lookin and found these for, what seemed like, Really cheap... are they even worth the change?
Shorty Headers - EBAY

Would it be worth that to go ahead and get 'em for now?? It will still help the flow some...and the sound quite a bit...won't it? Or are those just...stock headers that are painted [][X(]

Thanks Ya'll

the difference in these headers is that they are not equal length headers ... they will work ... but why spend your money twice ... equal length short headers are easy to spot because they look like a twisted mess ...lol... the purpose is to keep the flow equal instead of different cylinders from having quicker exits . it a balance issue... if your real pressed for $$$ then dont waste it ... thats my opinion .... i have a set of mac equals I might be getting rid of ... im not sue yet .... if I do I will PM you

Keep in mind that the difference in power between a "equal length" shorty & a "non-equal" length shory might be 3hp & 3tq. When you add in the burned spark plug wires, extra cussing & cut up hands from installation\removal..... You might find an unequal length header is the best choice....

P.S. Look at the ebay poster's feedback entries. See what people metion on the header purchases....IMHO

then again... some of us SMART people... use spark plug wire pliers to remove them... makes life so much easier

and the BS about 3hp and 3tq.. lol, maybe on a stock motor
If you mod your motor... h/c/i, even a power adder..... you will notice a BIG difference between equal and unequal

in favor of the equals I assume....
so basically...I should try for equals.. What if I happen to find a similar set of shorties...only equal...also for a cheaper price? like around...120-140?
