Inner Tie Rods

RE: Inner Tie Rods
I just did mine last week. It was about 125 bucks. I got inner and outer TRW's at Advance Auto. It wasn't that hard. The worst thing was on the inners there is a little alum. pin that is hammered in that you have to drill out. The pin keeps the tie rod from spinning of the rack. It took me a couple of hours. You'll need to get it aligned after that.
Good Luck and be safe. Use Jack stands!!!

MM&FF [or maybe 5.0] did an article on that w/in the past year. They were suggesting just to buy the center piece that has both inner tie rods on it as it's only ~$100 or so and it cuts down on the amount of work and time required to just remove the inners.

RE: Inner Tie Rods
cost me $40 to do both sides, inners and outers. For the inners you just need to hammer out the pin and there's a special tool (looks like a piece of pipe) you need that fits over top of the entire inner and you just use a ratchet to take it out.
