how high have you rev'd your 302?

how high have you rev'd your 302?
saw this thread on another forum and some interesting responses
personaly ive had mine up to about 5500 (i shifted at 5200)
the needle was BARELY touching the beginning of the redline (5600 i think?)
obviously no need to high rev a V8 motor but i know some you like to live on the edge [8D]

Wow you hit 6 Million RPMS? You know the K at the end of that is the abb of thousand, so 6250000rpms.. I think I have taken mine to 4,900. If I had 3.73, I would be taken there all the time, but useless with my 2.73s. Seems like you need to change your redline, maybe get a sharpie in there and reduce it.
