I have a full MSD ignition, and just ordered a MSD coil. How wide should I open my plugs to?

try .060", that's a bit bigger than stock and ought to work OK with the MSD system.

You sure roundman?Stock is 45 i would try 50 or 55 at first nd move up from there.

i have a hyfire ignition so i stuck my plugs in at ~.055

my facing friend runs the same MSD in his 533 ci bbf and runs a .060 plug gap just fine. they throw a hell of a spark! just ask my friend about the time he was adjusting the timing at idle and let the it jump to his wrist watch and exit at his elbow! boy was that funny, he ran all over the shop cussing up a blue streak and swears to this day that he had trouble going to sleep that night because his whole arm was still throbbing from the pain.[sm=lol.gif] you had to be there, it was hilarious!!!!!
