Default Injector help

I have a 94 mustang GT and im thinking about getting 24lb injectors. I know if i want to get them i have to get a new maf sensor, but i can only find them for 88-93 5.0. If someone knows what i need to do to get the 24lb injectors i would appreciate the help.

why going to 24's? if you fairly stock you need not bother...you can get a 76 or 80mm c/l maf or a pro m

Default RE: Injector help

I have 36 Lb High Impedence injectors and I got a pre-flo MAF sensor calibrated for the new injectors. Everything I read says that pro-flow is the best way to go. Knowing what I know now, What I would do if i were you is buy a tweecer RT. ( http://.Tweecer.com or http://tweecer.oplnk.net). What the tweecer does is it lets you program your own air/fuel curve. In otherwords it lets you use any MAF sensor because the output voltage from the sensor will read by the computer(which is controlled by the tweecer). This is good because if you want to upgrade to bigger injectors, get a bigger throttle body, or get rid of your smog pump and EGR valve later you don't need to re-calibrate your MAF.

But, what vfast said is true. bigger injectors are worthless unless you have some engine mods requiring more fuel. Unless you have a supercharger or running nitrous, return the injectors.

good luck

and if you buy a tweecer then I would use a maf from a 2002 lightening that is 90mm and can be programm to be used with any size injector and is less likely to peg out
