I just need to know, is it's possible, with a little modification or not, if the outer door belt weatherstripping will fit from an 87-up in an '86? I'm thinking of just ordering the $60 cheaper set for 87-93s and just making them work.

i believe it will fit but the flanges will not work right so no seal will be formed, get the right ones.

Don't go cheap on the weatherstripping.. its gonna leak and make noise and balh...
