Hey guys i just got a 93 lx 5.0 and does anybody know how many gallons does the fuel tank hold i think its eithier 15 or 19 i'm not to sure. I would like to know without have to run out of gas cause i'm having problems with the fuel gauge.

well I believe its 15, cause ive never put more than 13.5 even when my gauge says its nearly empty

Factory tank is 15.4 gallons but iv'e only put in a max of 13.6 gallons because my gauge is a little bit misleading at the bottom.

yea i put in 6.8 gallons and it read 1 bar above half full

stock gauges are fuzzy, use the trip odometer

quick ?, do you think its any different on a 1986 mustang gt? cus i can only get 10.5 gallons in when im on E and it jumps to a full tank. I think my car might have a 12 gallon tank.
