Sounds like the rings are fried!Do a compression test.

Man i will be in crazy debt if my car starts breaking down..

Oil changes are ok, still have over 1000 miles to go til the next one.

If the rings were fried why would the car kick in later on? Wouldnt it have no power throughout?

it would probably be a little better up there once the engine gets going. You need a compresion tester, it screws into the plug threads. You want to look for consistancy between the cylinders.
