Default Tires wobbleing

Ok i have been hearing a slight noise out of the driverside tire. Then my friend was driving behind me and said when i hit the gas my tires started to shake bad. I havent noticed this in the car or i didnt feel it. But he said it was fine when driving normal but when i hit it they shaked realy bad. I have a 88 gt man. could this be the exles or bearings? thnx

Ya i just ordered some new axles. I think they are 31 spline right? well i am also going to get some new bearings? what kind of lube do you all recomend for the rear? thnx. o Just curious i was driving home today and my engine out of no where sounded a little different and the car seemed to pull alot harder. i just did a rebuild about 700 mi ago could it be it is just breaking in? Some guy at my work said when the engine breaks in you can tell and it is faster. i think it is true but not sure just curious. thnx

the stock axles are 28 spline, not 31. If you keep the 31 spline ones, you will need to get a new differential also with 31 splines. This is what I would do as the 31 spline axles are a lot stronger than the 28 spline ones. While you're at it, change all the bearings in the rear too since you'll have it all torn down anyway. Put a set of 3.73's in there while you're at it too.
