Default sea foam and oil change running awesome

just did a seafoam cleaning and oil change on my stang runs great. it was so awesome watching that bitch smoke haha. one question how long is it suposed to smoke for cause it still is after and hour but its not a lot but noticable im able to see it come up next to my car when im stopped and i just washed and waxed her i dont need it to get dirty again. i used this liquid wax called ice WOW for crapy looking paint it shines like no other

that's awesome....I can't wait to use it on my caprice....I've gotta take it somewhere they won't call the fire dept. though... I have a feeling that hooker is gonna smoke like a pile of burning tires[sm=burnout.gif]

this is going to sound dumb but how much for the seafoam and how do you do it? is there a tutorial somewhere? it seems as if alot of you guys seem improvements with it, and i have 118k almost so i think i need to do that. haha

it's ~$6-7 at your auto parts store and the instructions are on it. Basically, part goes in the fuel tank, part TB or brake booster line, and you can put it in your crank case also, I believe......

man that sux I only got like 2 minutes of smoke out of mine!!!! Any idea why? Im thinking my intake was too hot when I put it in through the pcv and maybe most of it evaporated? How about you guys was your car hot before you put it in you pcv or bb?

If it's still smokin, then you probably pulled it in somewhere that it can hang around. It also means your top end was pretty dirty. Last time I seafoamed mine, it hardly smoked at all (dirty part turned out being the throttle body). You may want to give your's a second treatment fairly soon.

As to the question of what SeaFoam is and how you use it, look here http://www.seafoamsales.com/motorTuneUpTechGas.htm

It can be found at many of the chain parts stores (Auto Zone, Advanced Auto, Carquest, etc.) and it's usually $5 to $6 per can.

yeah im not surprised it was that dirty it was alsome leaving this HUGE HUGE smoke trail down the road haha i was thinking about doing a second treatment oh and it helped me to find my exhaust leak which is right where my headers bolt to my heads it was smoking pretty good out of there on the drivers side guess thats my next project

i feel sorry for you guys.

you have to poor a bottle of crap in your car to get it to smoke... I just drive mine and it smokes like its on fire
